Underwater pipelines run along the seabed and ensure the constant transportation of oil and gas from the production site to industry. Direct connection and savings on transshipment (for example, in tankers) reduce time and costs. The conditions of temperature and pressure on the seabed, as well as the increased requirements for the protection of the sea, pose special problems for pipes and fittings.
Fully welded underwater ball valves from Bohmer are characterized by high load capacity, lack of leaks and maintenance-free operation. Thanks to fully welded seams and robust construction, they withstand extreme tensile forces. Embedded materials make them insensitive to corrosion. Due to these characteristics, Bohmer ball valves are one of the few cranes with API6D and API6DSS certificates.
Bohmer produces ball valves with welding ends or flanges. Ball valves can be switched selectively using a T-lever, ROV-compatible gearboxes, or hydraulically.
Models: with hydraulic control SSIV on PLEM, controlled ROV for the platform filling system, with underwater gear for PLEM (crude oil unloading), with underwater gear SPIBV on PLET and PLEM.
